Dont be so hard on yourself. Recovery is hard and there may be some slip ups along the way but as long as you get back up and do what you can to not fall back into that trap, you should be proud of yourself for not giving up.

Good vibes brother! A lot of us have been there. We fall and we pick ourselves back up. Ill throw you on my back and carry you if we need too

All we can do is dust ourself off and get back on the wagon. Tranquilo, friend.

Hey brother. I’ve been in your shoes before. It’s great that you had 4 years!! Think about recovery as a journey. You learned a lot over those 4 years. I’m sure there are things you did right, as well as things you can improve upon. The relapse or slip is your wake up call that you need to make some changes. You are now starting a new chapter of your recovery journey. This time you gave all the experience and knowledge of the past 4 years to help you along the way. It’s going to take some time to get over the disappointment of “starting over”, but the truth is you’re starting a fresh new chapter.

Good vibes ~~~~~>>>>

Let it go and carry on! You've got this!

Salem, your feelings are understandable and natural. But, this is a opportunity to take on a new challenge using everything you learned during those four years. You have the strength to get back on the horse. :muscle:t5: Please don’t hesitate to lean on me and the rest of the community as you begin to rebuild. Welcome to Loosid brother.

Everything happens for a reason. More will be revealed. Relapse is what we do. After I relapsed and it only took ten years before alcohol brought me back to the program lol, I got much more of the spiritual side of AA

Alcohol is the best Sergeant at Arms AA has. People leave the herd and alcohol chases them back in!

Sending goods vibes
they’ve been ups and downs but we keep pushing for greater accomplishment.
