Im almost 2 years sober and just left ny boyfriend… i know i need to get to a meeting but they are all so far from me. Like 30 minutes ine way… im already depressed and that just feels like so far away

April congratulations on 2 yrs....I know how ya feel....my meeting places are 30 minutes drive too and late at night or late for me as I have to get up so early. Stay strong

Online meetings the word but a recovery are not conducive with success in recovery we find a way because there is no other way get busy living get busy dying because remember some addicts have to die so that others could live

Congratulations on 2 years. 30 minutes is not really far. Here in Massachusetts nearly all meetings in this area are 30-45 minutes away. I’d drive that far for a drink.
Don’t let a 30 minute drive be your excuse to slack on your recovery. There’s always the option for online there’s a woman’s Zoom meeting 24/7. 365
