Feeling real shitty the past few days and idk why exactly just not feeling my usual self, frustrated and irritated and I can't shake it
I have those days, that are sometimes also weeks! Hang in there!
Desiree when I feel shitty I know it’s time for me to do an inventory. Find the root of why. Then actions to make changes. I found the 12 steps are a set of tools for me to utilize for this process.
I’m here if you want to talk
Dont let those days drag u back down, keep pushing forward!!!
Thinking
too much about things I cannot change get me in the same place
I journal all the time or call a sober buddy.
I’m sorry to hear that, am here if you need to talk. Your body can’t process anxiety and gratitude at the same time. Has helped me a lot!
I understand! My favorite expression is "the only thing constant in life is change". It helps to remind me that bad days and shitty feelings are only temporary. ❤️‍🩹
Totally normal
Recovery is not easy
I wanted to give up millions of times
I feel lucky my home group taught me I was worth the effort
Keep trying
You are worth it
I tell myself "I need to chill" and a wave of grace washes over me.

I’ve had days like that too where I just feel off and can’t really explain why. Sometimes our emotions catch up with us when we’re sober because we’re actually feeling everything instead of numbing it. What’s helped me is slowing down, checking in with myself, talking to someone in recovery, or getting to a meeting. Feelings like this don’t last forever, even though they can feel heavy in the moment.
Just know you’re not alone in this. Be gentle with yourself today sometimes just getting through the day sober is a huge win. Keep going.

There some great suggestions here. Have you talked to someone who might be able to guide you for more personal insight? Your body keeps the score, so settle in to dig out what is causing this emotional response. I wish you the best.
It could be hormones, tape worm, someone speaking about us, or it could be an unbeknownst desire to be productive. I hope you find it!
It will pass, don't do anything foolish.
What helps you feel better? Going for a walk, hiking, going to a lake?
Brain worms probably maggot brain, jk
The stretches where something is just off and you can’t name it ugh, are the worst sometimes. And then you got the the body/brain trying to process everything before the words can catch up, but you said though
