Feeling so good being sober right now and just wanted to share. Went to a concert tonight and it was the best time of my life! I had been nervous about it because I’ve only been to one other concert sober, last year right before the pandemic. I was in the GA pit and surrounded by drunks and it was tough and hard to enjoy it. But tonight it was an outdoor concert, the weather was beautiful and I had such a good time. It was so nice to just be present in the moment. And then I was able to drive home. And I can remember everything and am excited to wake up tomorrow feeling good! It’s crazy that I always thought I needed alcohol to have fun. I’m so happy I’m finally getting to that place where I can really enjoy life!

Yeah, it's crazy when you've been just been maintaining your addiction for so long, You never did anything without your best friend - alcohol and/drugs
You forget about the simple things in life and a sober life I think could be fun...still a work in progress

That’s a very cool story. I miss going to shows also. Have been to a few sober and it is way better then being on something. Glad you had fun.
