I did it a couple of days ago. Don’t beat your self up. Admitting is the biggest step. Reach out. I am here. We can do this!

Don’t beat yourself up. Relapses happen. Just start over. Get to a meeting of some kind. Keep reaching out. We got your back.

First of all breath and don't be so hard on yourself. I can't count the times I've relapsed but I can tell you how many times I've gotten back up. That's what matters most. When we fall our brain tells us that we have failed and that this is just how it will always be. That is a dam* lie. I know a woman who has 45 years of sobriety and she always says tomorrow I can fall if I don't stick to the program and stay around positive people who encourage me to keep it moving forward. It's not about the days but the nights you are able to go to bed clean and sober. Just keep remembering that life is a journey not a destination and the same goes for sobriety. There's no graduation date because it is something we have to practice everyday. You will be fine because you have just made the biggest move you can possibly do in your walk. Which is reach out for help and ask a community who is all about being there for us when we doubt ourselves. Take it slow and remember that you are strong and can do this with the help of others. Own the day and don't let it own you. Keep reaching out and it does get easier.
