My mindful and present twelve year old daughter was rewarded with a crisp twenty she found on the ground tonight! 
I told her what a “gift” that was to be mindful and present! I got the eye roll 
and “ Oh, Mom!!!!”

Yeah, don't waste another day. My daughter is 23, and I wish I hadn't wasted so much of her childhood drunk or high. I have a decent relationship with her now, but I wish I had been more present when she was younger.
