Fighting for me

I am trying to stay sober ! I passed out sometime after 2am , it’s now 7 am and I am already up looking for my buzz. I can’t seem to shake this monkey I have on my back this time .it’s been one long 6 month binge. I am so far away from God that my passcode to unlock my phone is Godhelpme!!!! I put that so I had to talk to God each day . I want me back , I don’t like who I am while under the influence.

Pray, ask God for strength first. Get some rest, hydrate yourself and continue doing the work. :pray:t3::facepunch:t3:

Been there… you need a circle of support, meetings, mindfulness, etc. whatever it takes and minute by minute.

This feeling your having I’d GOD awful but I promise it will pass I’m sure you have already been told that Believe it it’s gonna pass !!! Hang in there

I’ve been there. Don’t give up! I get meetings are helpful for some, not all, but some. But two things I know can benefit, your relationship with God and your faith, that is one thing g that saved me, and treatment, I know this cause it’s my career and I’ve seen so many people saved through proper treatment. Keep your head up and if you ever need to chat or have someone just listen, reach out, I’m usually around in between patients during the day and I don’t sleep much at night. Good luck!

Praying/god isn't working. Get your a$$ to AA meetings and make some real sober connections. People who knows what you're going through and want to help you.

They will actually answer you when you reach out and they don't work in mysterious ways.

Get to the choppa if you want to live.

Great advice. I mean, she obviously prays and it's apparent that it's doing nothing

Please everyone, people are dying from addiction. They need real help. Knock it off with the nonsense.

Stop.

It takes what it takes

The first step has already been taken. Lean into God for your strength. He can handle it and so can you.
