How do I get a sponsor? I’m only on day 2 but I would like to find one sooner rather than later.

Not yet. I’ve talked to a few people about it and got a list that indicates which women sponsor. I have 2 women in mind currently but want to make sure it’s the right fit

The best sponsors are found in the rooms of alcoholics anonymous. Sponsorship is such a intimate experience and being face to face is the only way to do it imo. You can also listen to a prospective sponsor share and see if they have what you want and its easy to tell if they're respected in the program and actually working a program. Some people ask the first person they meet but me personally I've found that it takes the right person to get me to tell the truth, without omitting anything. Go to a meeting and ask a women with some time if she has any recommendations. That's a good place to start. Good luck! It's a amazing experience it will change your life!
