Its been so lonely at times thinking about having a life time friend that would stand by your side no matter your brokeness or pass experiences its so hard to find a pal for life without betrayal or judgement or jealousy i guess not in this life time ive had to let go alot of fake friends that only needed me when they needed stuff or to help them know im alone but in peace and happiness but still u wonder we're they truly there for you
Hey I tried to plan a trip out to the island and visit with you. I even asked for your help with finding lodging close by you to no avail.
I'm going to the house on Maui/Kihei instead.
I tried... I'll still be your friend though. I hope you're continuing to read that Big Book on the AA app.
I'm letting go of the old friends and it's including my family that never were there
from the beginning so that's why I love this app we all come from a different background but still understand the struggles and challenges that comes from recovery it's been tuff but I'll fight it through with a win I believe
There are and will be times where, yes, you'll have to let family go. As hard as it is and sad as it sounds family/friends at times can be, other than our old drinking selves, can be our biggest disappointment in our sobriety.
You have this Crystal. When I'm in Maui I'll try to squeeze in a day to fly over to see you.
Aloha and Mahalo all in one shot.
I miss maui
So peaceful there
