First time on here thinking about getting sober but everytime i ro my aunt comes to stay who is a drinker an it never ends well

Have you ever thought about setting boundaries and tell her no alcohol in your house.

Correct. If not already, hit some meetings. You'll learn quickly how to set healthy boundaries for yourself. Remember while actively using and or drinking we are all guilty of being selfish. Same goes for getting sober. You have to be selfish sometimes. Your sobriety first. Everyone and everything comes after that. Not to confuse with however you see God or your higher power. That is always the true first. Again, these are things you will learn in meetings and on your sober journey/path. Hope this helps.
