For anyone struggling right now, please remember.. WE DO RECOVER. I have held addiction’s hand too many times and willingly let it take me straight to the abyss, over & over. But one thing I never did was stop giving recovery a shot. I finally surrendered and let go of its hand on April 5th, 2022 & in just this short amount of time I have regained a major sense of self, & that’s all I ever wanted. I know things won’t always be great etc, but I also know I never have to be back at the dark places that it took me. And if I ever do end up in a dark place, I do not have to pick up & use to “make it through.” I can get through pain without the use of drugs or alcohol. If anyone needs to talk/vent/anything please reach out! Wishing everyone a great weekend & peace!
