I am deeply and unapologetically proud of earning my "Warrior Badge" for 10 full years sober today!!
That's a full decade of strength, self-control, and needed growth.
I white-knuckled through some of the hardest days in my life, but I gained peace and control in my new sober life.
I did something that many people might never understand.... the depth of recovery.
Recovery isn't just about not drinking or using, It's about building trust with yourself, dealing with life while you're fully awake, experiencing raw emotion, and showing up everyday even when it's unbearably hard.
I truly hope that my journey can be an inspiration to someone who seeks sobriety. I'll be your biggest cheerleader and encourage you to do one~more day, everyday!
