Well i been through so many demons lately…. This morning I finally decided to go to church and i went and gave my life to the lord… The service hit hard for me today because they spoke about everything that i was going through like how the demons can beat you down when your going through the toughest times of your life and fighting this recovery right now is rough specially when your in sober living and living with a bunch of people… Last week i was going to commit suicide and wanted to leave and get high but somehow I fought right through this so today at church spoke right to me

I'm so glad you are still fighting on. This happens to me all the time and I am so grateful to know that He is always standing by to reach in with exactly the very message that we need if we are just willing to listen. His light cancels out the darkness. Anytime you feel the darkness change your thoughts to something you can be grateful for it really helps. Don't forget to focus on the present moment in this reality, not the one in your head. Our brain will try to focus on memory where we often overevaluate and over punish what is already wased clean...
