Fresh out of rehab have 57 days clean today. Ready to re-entered the work force. In order to go back to work i need welding helmet steeltoe boots welding gloves at the least, and i cant even buy one of those items. If anybody out there can please help me to get started with my work items you would be helping me to stay at my recovery house. If anyone can help or knows of any resources, or programs that would help me get the work items i need. Thank you

Do you need steel toe boots or can you use composite shoe? I work as a part-time substance abuse counselor and full-time 12hr shifts at a good manufacturing job. They give us PPE and $100 towards steel toes. Check if your potential employer does this. Welding gloves on Amazon $9.98. Welding helmet $11-14 on Amazon. Steel toes under $25 on Amazon. You could get started with all this for under $50.

I tried both no help there gonna have to turn down these jobs I mean I can steal the boots but not the helmet really don't want to resort to that but you gotta do what you gotta do to survive. Just don't want to be in that mind fram but uck it
