Friday night was the first time in a while I've gone out to a concert. I went out with a friend. It was an awesome show. That friend got so drunk he threw up in my car. I was so upset, but I kept my cool. Dropped him off at his place, and I waited till Saturday afternoon to talk to him. Told him what he did laugh and all he said my bad and hung up. Note to self next time, go alone.

When I saw my first concert since newly sober ( Morrissey in Boston) I was appalled and dismayed by my drunken friends getting too carried away with the sinister sauce :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. Yes I stayed busy with free Sprite and Doctor Pepper all night ( bartender was so cool when he saw I was only drinking soda ) . Yes, I would have had more fun without drunk and disorderly behavior!!!

Yuck on the car puke! Was the concert good? Who was it?

Well… nothing has changed out there. No reason for me to try it again and expect a different result. I love live music now and go with sober friends and have an amazing time, every time.

The concert was awesome, it was Obituary and 3 other bands.

I’m going to 2 concerts this summer. This will be the first time I’ve been to a concert without a tailgate party, drinking the way there and of course in the concert. I will be with my 9 year old daughter and my bf, that doesn’t drink. So I will have support and honestly don’t want to drink anymore. I think I’ll be fine. Just worried about the cravings and triggers.

Awesome. I went to the Whitechapel show in Atlanta not too long ago, and it was a blast. The openers were the best mart imo.

It was blood incantation, immolation and obituary. Pretty sick line up.
