Friends?

Hi. I’m looking for sober friends to do sober things with. Suggestions?

Start by finding out where the meetings are in your area. If meetings aren't your thing look for nearby behavioral health companies you can visit and find the one that works for you.

Fück "online friends " getbout of the matrix and go to women's AA meetings and make irl friends that you can go do stuff with.

I have made some very good friends in AA, and I was a certified people hater before.

Sober picnics, for me are an amazing way to share our experience strength and hope outside of meetings and get a stronger connection with my support group. Also, the beach with my supports.

Call me

AA did soften my tongue and perception of the world! I relapsed! Letting myself down again! Thankfully my AA girls won’t judge me

Find a sober group. AA, celebrate recovery, something like that.

Get in touch with local sober livings. They don’t always require you to be in a house to tag along with activities

And they’re all different so don’t give up if you don’t like the first one. One group near me is religious based so do a bunch of those acitivities, and another is fitness focused so working out and fighting lessons.

Try The Phoenix!

It’s a sober meetup group with a website and app to find activities near you. Even non religious activities if that’s your thing.

Good meetings

There's an app called meet up where you put your interests and then match up with similar people and similar interests then you pick events , meetups, you want . I went to a poetry group, a picnic in the park with lady's my age, I've attended online discussions about poets, there's free stuff and things that cost. I like it, it's cool they are just regular ppl doing what they like. Not recovery unless maybe you choose to join a group like that.
