Last night I went with my husband to our first AA dance. It was so nice not having to repair the damage that drinking caused. I didn’t have to fix what was said or done. I remembered where I parked my car. I had money at the end of the night and money still left in my bank account. There was no drama and no fighting. People actually danced through the whole night. It was the best New Years celebration in a long time!!!!
