Any tips on pursuing your passion and staying sober? Most gigs I see in my city are at breweries or bars. I want to play but the bar scene is what keeps me from committing to a band.

I saw this girl who tried out for American idol. Her name was Hunter Girl. Her job prior to American idol was music therapy with veterans. Music therapy is healing. Studies have proven when music is played during surgery, patients have better outcomes. Maybe you could build some type of music therapy program. Maybe help veterans or those of us with addictions. Music is healing.
