You got this Melissa! Those is first of many concerts.
All the best.

How was it? Who did you see?

You should read my post from this morning as a side note, but this is how I’d describe it: it was at Red Rocks, Umphrey’s McGee who are some of the most talented musicians in the music scene. I pull up to the scene I knew I would see, tailgating, beer drinking, kids all happy and buzzed. I took a deep breath and got out. Made it to our seats. I decided to just watch and observe. Those happy buzzed people went from giddy to either tired or wasted. It smelled like stale beer by the end. The show was insane. I was tired by the end, drove home sober, got awesome sleep and it was eye opening. All the years I did that to myself, my family and friends at events and at home, that was me. And I felt that deeply. So proud, so remorseful and so bright today, albeit a bit teary.:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Nice job getting thru it. Hope you were able to enjoy it! I’m heading to a rock concert tonight…Joan Jett, Poison, Def Leppard, and Motley Crew. It’s going to be insane! I hope to be able to get out of my head and not focus on all the drinking and smoking so I can totally enjoy the moment. I’ve done a lot of things like this sober, but I have a hard time getting out of head and feeling connected without substances
