So it turns out one the first things I needed to give up to sober up was my opinion.
I was told I knew everything about how to get and stay drunk, but I didn’t know anything about how to get and stay sober. My ways didn’t work. So I decided to give up my opinion on how things should be. Then I could take some suggestions and try living in a new way as suggested by A.A.
Thank God I did. I am forever grateful for A.A. and this way of life.
