God grant me the serenity, courage, and wisdom!

(Sorry in advance for the beverages but this is only one of the more recent pics I have with my brother)

“God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.”

3:30 and I can not sleep although I’m utterly exhausted. This prayer is ALL that is getting me through this week. I really don’t know how I’m doing it with losing my brother on Monday and not being able to be down in FL with my Dad yet bc I HAVE to finish packing my apartment. I feel like I’m in some kind of autopilot mode & as much as I hate the feeling I am THANKING GOD beyond imagination.

I am continuing to pray and remind myself of my strength. Honestly though, I keep thinking about the funeral Monday & how I am going to keep it together. I am honestly so worried, especially bc my father decided to do a viewing. He asked me and I told him I support what ever decision he chooses. He is beyond devastated and I did not want to influence any of his decisions other than some important parts I know about my brothers wishes.

I do not feel it has really hit me yet bc I have not had a chance for it to but please continue your prayers. Thank you all again :pray:t3:

Praying for you for sure!!! Get that packing done so you can get down here!!! Would be awesome to run into you at a meeting! Where are you going finally? If you are gonna be in Delray and go to outside meetings the Delray Central House newcomer meetings at 7pm Friday and Saturday are absolutely amazing! And every 12:15 meeting has maybe 75 people in there and when they ask to raise your hand if you have over a year to show the new comer it works 90 percent of the room raises their hands! You're going to do great, I can feel it. Just keep your head up and don't forget your desperation you have now. :pray:t3::pray:t3::pray:t3:

Thank you! :pray:t3: I am going to Futures after all. It’s quite possible we may run into each other in the future! I will keep you posted. Sounds like a great group in Delray.
