I had such an incredible god shot that resulted in me returning to treatment for the second time.

I'd lay in bed at night and go over my consequences, both current and potential. I'd plan to go to a meeting, and promised myself I wouldn't drink the next day. Then I would wake up and my resolve was eviscerated. I went right to the liquor store. I terrified my family, and completely shattered their trust in me. Within a week, I moved out of my apartment, my car was sold, and I was on a plane to treatment for the second time in two years, now with a criminal record. It was made very clear to me that this was my last chance. I finally reached a place where I could truly surrender.
Today, I got incredible news about my legal situation and I immediately knew it was the work of my higher power.
