Going From a LGBT Rehab to a Sober living with all straight guys is an experience lol. It was difficult for me to find my groove(I've only been here a week) because usually I'm reserved and it was no different coming here. I was probably more reserved than usual.. I do miss my old buds but the nice thing about all this is that I have TONS of people in my sober support group and now I get to have more.
I just wish it was more people like me or it was easier to relate. That's why I'm on this app lol
I believe things happen for a reason and who knows what this new experience will bring

I had the same experience! Went into a 5 month residential treatment. I didn’t qualify for this program as it was intended for folks coming out of prison or jail and trying to stay sober. Weird first two weeks, then I made some lifelong friends!
Well there’s a few thing you have in common with others there: addiction, recovery, human nature. While your there maybe focus on those similarities. It’s awesome you feel comfortable enough to be here.. sounds to me like you belong here
