Going on that week mark

Im just trying to find the best way to stay sober without being codependent on someone or something else.

What's the balance between finding connection with our peers and feeling overly invested in not being lonely while going through this extremely lonely time?

Give it some time. Everything is out of kilter in early recovery. Finding fellowship in the rooms can never hurt, but having some alone-time to work on your wellness is invaluable.
Being comfortable in our own skin isn't easy for alcoholics. Just give yourself some grace and make friends with yourself.
