That's the way to do it keep it up
Congrats Lauren! For me, honesty has to be first. Before everything. I couldn't get sober, until I could get honest with MYSELF. Sometimes, that looked like I was trying to work a program without a sponsor. But that wasn't true. Everything I do and say today is what I mean and feel.
We hear things like "fake it til you make it", "if you do what we do, you'll get what we get."
In my experience, which is considerable, nothing gets me drunk faster than faking it. It's OK to say you don't believe. It's OK to have questions why. Work through them HONESTLY, every step of the way, and you will be just fine.
