Good day all. Just had to post this on Anxiety

Good day all. Just had to post this on Anxiety. I suffer from it. So this topic is something i can relate to. So thought i would write a little on this subject.

Resilience and Recovery
Healing requires reframing anxiety not as an enemy but as a signal—an invitation to confront underlying pain. Recovery is not linear, but each step forward reclaims dignity and hope.

Anxiety and addiction are not separate battles but intertwined struggles that demand compassion, understanding, and holistic care. To suffer from both is to live in a silent spiral, where fear and dependence reinforce one another. Yet, within this spiral lies the possibility of transformation. By acknowledging the dual burden, society can move beyond stigma and toward empathy, creating pathways where suffering is met with support, and recovery becomes not just possible, but celebrated.

Somewhere around 80% of alcoholics drink to self-medicate from depression and anxiety. When quitting the symptoms are even worse due to withdrawals increasing the already high risk of relapse. Most people, even alot of doctors, see drinking as a choice and not an illness thus there isn't much sympathy out there. It's a tough deal that requires incredible focus and hard work to recover from.
