Today I'm grateful for:
- Upon awakening I immediately Abandoned myself to the protection and care of a Loving God of my own understanding.
- Strengthening my relationship with the God of my understanding through daily Spiritual Readings, Meetings, Prayer & Meditation.
- Having a Spiritual Resource available each day if I choose to use it. God is always there.
- Not regretting what I’m doing today because I’m applying the steps and principles of A.A. in all my affairs.
- Using the sick man’s prayer to keep the focus on the things I can change like my attitude and my thoughts
- My sponsor is in town and I may get to see her in person on Tuesday.
- 28 years sober and clean, 10 months of recovery in my eating disorder, took all my medicine and blood sugar today, and 11 months clean off cigarettes
- Allowing other people’s continuous recovery experience to be theirs' alone, not tainted by my expectations or opinions.
- Being able to give and receive love today
- My family by birth and by choice
