Good morning, I’m feeling very depressed this morning. I don’t

Good morning, I’m feeling very depressed this morning. I’m trying to figure out why. Usually when I figure it out I feel better but I can’t this time. I know one of my friends got kicked out of the residential treatment facility, i know that’s a big change for me, so it could be that. Also I don’t have a good relationship with the counselor that’s been assigned to me, I think the combination Is really getting to me. I appreciate if someone could say a prayer for me because I’m battling for my sobriety every single day, none of the work I’m doing here is easy. If you have any advice about how to handle urges to use I’d really appreciate it.

Hi,Rosey!!! Pray And Know today you will face trials and tribulations but Know THIS IS NOT NEW TO YOU, that's the Good news- think about how many of these days you've already gotten through? This is just another day to learn and conquer and wake up tomorrow with a smile on your face knowing you conquered today you Empowered beautiful Strong woman!

Hi Rosey - just know that feelings pass and change, like the weather. Maybe focus on your gratitude for things - your sobriety, things that you haven’t lost to your addiction, the fact that you’re in a safe rehab environment, etc. You have a chance to be a ‘new you’ when you’re discharged. A new beginning, a new chapter in your life. But if you pick up, it will certainly be harder and more painful! Prayers to you.
