Good morning Loosid!

I love this! It seems to help with that admission to the first step in Alcoholics Anonymous.
“We admitted we were powerless over alcohol and that our lives were unmanageable.”
For me the why I got started is very simple now that I’m almost 21 months sober. I got started because alcohol made me feel in control. It give me a false sense of peace and happiness. Then I became out of control over alcohol. My behavior was out of control.
I was able to stop do to a series of bottoms that lead me to recovery.
Divorce, restraining order, kicked out of my home.
What got you started? How did you stop?
