Good morning sober friends. Just want to remind everyone to please stay strong with you not drinking. My friend was found dead Friday from alcohol. Talk about reality.

It sure is. Broke my heart so that make 2 close friends and my brother that I know about. Dealing with so much but to pick up would be suicide.

How horrible!! What a miserable way to go. I’m sorry your friend couldn’t find recovered in time. I know you already know this, but let this serve us all as a reminder that the disease of addiction can kill us. Sorry you have to go thru this. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the loved ones of your friend

Please stick and stay. I had more issues that would have normally cause me to drink but thank god for my recovery team. Haven’t seen daughter 4 months now, Family not talking to me. Nasty health issues. Long Covid. But will have 30 months next week.

I am so sorry for your loss. I went through this a week or so ago. My friend retired less then a year ago. He sat at home and drank himself to death. Without the grace of God, would have and could be me.
