Good morning. What a beautiful morning. "An axe without a shaft is no threat to the forest." Bulgarian proverb. If I don't work on me and my program, I will have no defense against what life throws at me. In order for me to get better, I need to trust God, clean the house, and help others. I need to remain willing to do what's necessary. This program teaches me how to slowly put myself back together. It teaches me through the work I do every day. I continue to learn new ways from the people who have come before me. Putting all the pieces back together is not easy, but it is doable as long as I do the work. The longer I stay sober, the more I learn about who I am and what I'm about. I have a defense against whatever life decides to throw my way. Everything always starts and ends with me. My life depends on how much effort I put into my sobriety. How much better do I want to get. Only I can answer that question for myself. God is good. Life is amazing. Sobriety is the bomb diggity.
