Good morning. What a beautiful morning. "Don't wait until you reach your goal to be proud of yourself. Be proud of yourself every step of the way." Arabic proverb. I never really did anything to be proud of until I got sober. It was hard to feel proud of myself in my early days of sobriety because I felt beaten down and worn out. Over time, I learned how to be proud of myself for the things I was doing. Like staying sober for one day. Which happens to be the greatest accomplishment I can do for an entire day. Everything else is material. I am very proud of who I have become and how my life is going today. It's all because I became willing to do something different, and I continue to do something different every single day. God is good. Life is amazing. Sobriety is the bomb diggity. Have a blessed day, my friends.

I’m 77 days sober but still feeling frustrated and guilty for my past drinking days. When does it stop? I’m relaxed and content but want the guilt to go away.

The first time I got sober, I wanted everything to be perfect overnight. As we know that’s an unrealistic expectation, but it was always a huge leaning lesson. Thank for sharing!
