I’ve been in project management in the construction industry for ~17 years, and hated it since the day I dropped my tool bags prior to that, never having pursued what I love about myself; my creative spirit.
In my ‘short’ time in sobriety I’ve finally gained the mental fortitude and courage to drop the salary and pick up my bags once again. I said goodbye to my desk yesterday (never say forever) and tomorrow am going back to that ‘me’ that I have always had such fond memories of.
A lot of that decision comes from the stories of strength that I read from you all on this site.
Keep coming back.

Lol.. I was the opposite I put my bags down and chose the desk! And I am so happy I did! Construction needs all the wheels to move forward. Good luck back in the field my man!
