Grateful for a safe trip back from Jasper , grateful to be home , grateful my granddaughter was here to greet me , grateful my son called me , grateful he sounds happy , grateful for creator in my life .

So many beautiful gifts, Gary, my Brother. Today I went to a small local PowWow but hot baked potato in the sun wow! Forgot Im only one week out from surgery so a humbling experience to just park myself at the edge of the bush, in the trees n let whoever come find me. Chillin in a light breeze, hearing everything quite well esp the big drums, only 4 groups but plenty enough. Very sweet energy n I got just what I needed, saw a few good friends n a sweet, new baby! So many gifts of Sobriety. Wonderful breeze off the ocean, daughter n granddaughter came to get me n the drums n Intertribal in my ears all
Day! Time for s nap with Granddaughter on her ipad beside me. Feeling very very blessed n slightly toasted lol! Sky B​:eagle:🪶:sun_with_face:❤‍🔥:sparkles::crescent_moon::dizzy:

Yep thought I had the legs for it, but one trip around the vendors on uneven ground in the blazing sun n a visit to the porta potties had me checkin the horizon for shade lol! Just a perfect spot n sweet visits all day back to my shady picnic table under the trees.So many subtle lessons if I paid attention n I did. Memory lane about past PowWows n kindly reminders about self care. Really was a slice of Life n all with the beautiful cultural flow of energy n peacefulness. I sometimes wish for a better word to express it but humbly grateful fits just fine! Adopted Spirit Son his first Sober PowWow ever, Hai Hai! Saw my Cree Brother E n his new precious baby who has transformed his sadness to joy bright as the Sun! And able to enjoy a day outdoors for the first time in I can’t remember!
