I’m grateful for my fishing buddy. We have gone on a few camping trips this summer and he puts up with me constantly talking about losing my girlfriend to drinking. He keeps it real for me with some things I don’t want to hear but that’s probably exactly what I need to hear.
It’s made this painful summer more tolerable and our trips help me get some temporary respite from constantly thinking about losing her.
