I am really grateful today for stopping and thinking about action, reaction, and inaction. Soberly making decisions on how to deal with people who only seem to serve themselves. I am perturbed, still. I am grateful to serve others and I am choosing actions steered in that direction. I can only control myself. I can only control my thoughts. Others may not see themselves in the same capacity as others see them. I am so grateful for being sober and being able to think clearly as I trudge through a mess made by someone who just cannot seem to understand what it means to serve community mental health.
I am grateful for my best friend and my supervisors who listen and support me daily.
I am grateful for Best Pals Pet Resort offering such 5 star accommodations for out furbabies. Ms Anne has taken Suzie Q for two days to stay while she has company! Suzie will have the best time. I love how BPPR takes pictures constantly and consistently post them for owners to see how happy their pups are playing and frolicking in nature with each other. Warms the heart for sure.
I am grateful Ms Lady may be going home soon and I believe her owner may be discharged today.
I am grateful for the members of the Coping Skills group and the BIP Orientation group for listening. Both groups are encouraged to be open to change and I am grateful for being able to assist in their learning new ways to think, feel, and behave.
I am grateful for today and that it is Friday! I am grateful for the weekend and the opportunities to work as concierge both days!
Grateful. Sober. Strong! Today.
