Im grateful for my parents. I felt like they didnt care about me for the last couple years but I understand how my addiction was hurting them. Im staying wjth them now and I can see how much they really do care and it is very touching. Im grateful for them.

Absolutely! Was just chatting with another friend on here the past 2 days about gratitude for the love and support from family
I can totally relate to you! When I was drinking everyday, I quit talking to them and I was like “woe is me, my parents don’t even talk to me, they don’t care about me” etc etc, but they have helped me SO much in getting sober and checking on me, and making sure I’m doing alright. They’ve gone above and beyond to help me get my life straight again. Idk what I would do without them at this point in my life. I’m glad you have that support in your life too
