Grateful for finally breaking down

and going to the ER for x-rays. The pain started rating upwards of labor. I just couldn't take another minute. Diagnosis: severely bruised and strained chest cavity. Prognosis: a type of muscle relaxer that is mild enough to control the continual spasms and unyielding pain . I finally can say, "I am pain free and can move without flinching." Very grateful today! The only problem: insomnia even with my typical medication protocols.

I am grateful for our Family Support Team and the imterview I particpated in yesterday before my visit to the new ER. 90 minutes. Perspective. It was like a team meeting.....and I am not on the team....sort of. What a great group of ladies!!

I am grateful for my supervisor as she alerted me to a new position. The Batterers Intervention Recovery Support Specialist! I did not hesitate to apply. I will continue to interview this week and next as opportunities may present themselves.

Shhh! Once again, I am grateful for another day and night of amiable relations amongst the canine species with whom I reside. PB Doggie Cookies for Lil Man when he allows for Lucy to trespass his bubble. It is working....and I am beyond grateful for this!

I am grateful for Ms Anne and my bestie. The daughter of my bestie is taking horseback riding lessons and the pictures of her in the paddock makes my heart so happy. She presents happiness in its most purest form...through the eyes of a child. This warms my heart.

I am grateful for the progress I am making in the certification processes for BIP and for the CPRS. Yay!! I am grateful for sobriety which is allowing me to proceed with serving others and cheering :raised_hands: outloud that "RECOVERY DOES HAPPEN!"

GRATITUDES ABOUND. SOBER AND STRONG!!

Is the muscle relaxer called Flexeril or cyclobenzaprine

Absolutely NOT. Tizanidine. I CANNOT take either of those, though they are the same drug with different names. I literally will drool and be comatose for 2 days on 1 tablet. My brain tells my body to complete a task and my body laughs at my brain!!

Yeah I know the same thing I just didn't know if you'd recognize one or the other

Yeah I specifically told the doc NO to those. However, what he prescribed has done nothing and I am back in pain again. I just called and am hoping the ER doctor will call in Robaxen for me. Thanks for a heads up

Robaxan like most muscle relaxant are not good for recovery from booze or drugs. Most Dr's. Unless they studied addiction have no clue. Toradol may be of help which is prescription ordered.

I actually do not have had issues with pills. Never did. I literally cannot function with this pain. Imagine a severe spasm from your breast all the way around to your shoulder blade. A constant intense pain that doesnt go away. It is as intense as labor before delivery. At least with labor and delivery you know there is an end to the pain. It is only temporary with just a couple of days of being down. This is not that. I used toradol for labor pains. Toradol is fine. I cannot tell the doctor what to prescribe. I CAN ONLY YELL OR TELL MY PAIN. Robaxen as worked in the past for me. Toradol would be fine. I do not care what they give me. I only want to be painfree. Thank you for tje information. I willnsuggest it.

That is exactly what recovery looks like in action. You've been through a lot and still showing up for others. We're pulling for you on that new position.
