Grateful for life. Albeit still not sober, I am thankful for life. Hope still beckons. I am grateful for some semblance of normalcy in my life. It's not an act on my part; I always have good intentions. I hate this facade that addiction has brought into my life and has stayed, an unwelcome guest, for 44 years. I have had some good times. I am grateful.
