Grateful for making it through 3 parties without drinking. I was a little temped during the first 2 but no cravings during the 3rd. Wow it’s so amazing the difference between today and Sep 27

Thanks for the comments. These were Christmas parties and attended by family, colleagues and friends. All of which know I’m an alcoholic in recovery. So there really wasn’t a bullet in that gun. 
I appreciate that, in the past I would have preloaded and took a flask. All the parties had alcohol but I would usually take it easy so as not to “appear” to be an alcoholic 
. The things I did to try and hide it. Wow!
Parties are for years of sobriety if alcohol is involved
