Good stuff. What have you done today that supports your growth and your sobriety?

For my growth I moved outside my comfort zone in a conversation early and tried something new.

Toward my sobriety - in daily prayer/gratitude's this morning I reminded myself that I have nothing if alcohol enters my life again. Absolutely nothing.

How about yourself? How have you grown and addressed your sobriety today?

Well, I got honest with myself about slipping into a victim mindset which is something I find very irritating when others are stuck there and straightened out my thought process.

I’m about to pull out my notebook and start writing out my 5th & 6th steps again. (I backpeddled in my growth when I went thru some traumatic drama a month ago sooo I went back to the 4th step)

I’ve made sure that I’ve drank 2 bottles of water already and I’ve eaten a full breakfast to ensue my blood sugar levels are balanced.

I woke up early to do push-ups, donkey kicks, the plank, and sitting v’s before I attended a 7 am zoom meeting.

And it’s only 11am.

You're awesome. I like your clarity and purpose in sobriety, your honesty as well.

Keep up the step work, I'm doing the same right now waiting to attend my outpatient program.

I loved my outpatient group so much. When Covid happened and it was on zoom it got way more rewarding, surprisingly. We would be told to focus on growing a plant or keeping one alive, journaling, self affirmations, drinking water, exercising, learning a new skill … and we’d have deep discussions. I extended my stay for an extra 6 months just cause I loved the support that was given.

And no problem. I’m a wordy person and have adhd. Don’t mind me.
