Getting sober opened doors for much improved relationships with my parents (both deceased now). They were very grateful that AA was there for me, and my mom spent many many years in Alanon for herself.
Funny as a teen, parents would harp on me, "you better change your attitude!". Well, with the tools of AA, I was able to really change my attitude for the Better!!!
