So I started going to the gym recently but I always leave frustrated. Hopefully I figure it out soon and get a system going. Frustrated but grateful.
As long as you continue to approach that gym with a sober mind, I believe your success is pretty much guaranteed. I have too many physical limitations to even risk the gym, so I am stuck with these twigs I call limbs, and ok with that. Perhaps it eases the frustration a bit, perhaps not. It sure beats being frustrated with yourself for mistakes that, at times, you possibly don't even fully recall and at other times wish that you didnt!
What’s frustrating you? I recommend just starting with finding and maintaining target heart rates. Cardio is a great way to start. Low and slow. Start with 20 minutes and work you’re way up from there. Before too long you’ll be running for an hour at a time
I always feel so good at the gym like it’s me time. Be proud and happy with yourself for taking some time for you! Grateful to have a body that moves. Progress not perfection🙌
