Grateful my best friend is alive. She struggles worse than I do and almost died last night.

My best friend is still struggling as well. It kind of puts a strain on the relationship. I still love him, but I think he's ashamed, or something? He went to a few meetings with me when I first got out of rehab, but he stopped after a couple of weeks.

It sucks, I know the feeling. We can not force, brine or beg the ones we love to get sober, but watching them slowly kill themself is horrific. All we can do is hope and keep our own sobriety in the front.
