Grateful my Mother goes to skilled nursing today, and not home. Grateful I am sober another day. God is the way to go.

Hopeful that all goes well with your mom in skilled nursing. I was grateful for being sober when my mom went to assisted living.
Years ago when I started AA, I introduced her to Al-Anon, and so we had the common bond of AA/Al-Anon 12-step programs to carry on conversations throughout her elder years' journey.
My AA program helps me with family relationships :two_hearts:

I love that you were able to share recovery your recovery with your mom in your own ways. That had to give you both a lot to talk about through the years.
