Grateful that I gave up alcohol 7 months ago. My life and health have improved drastically and I am so blessed because of it. I’m also grateful that my daughters father has made the decision to enter inpatient treatment. He goes in today. I pray he will be able to conquer his long battle with alcohol/mental health issues and rebuild a better life for himself❤️.

I have 7 months also!! After 25 years of drinking,, so proud of you and praying for your husband. My kids don't talk to me very much because of my toxic life, they are 28 and 29, I keep hoping they will forgive me one day. I was such a terrible mom when I was drinking.... I won't give up though. Life has gotten better and better!

Thank you everyone. Unfortunately my daughter’s father and I are no longer together. He chose to put his addiction ahead of our our relationship and life together and moved on with someone else very quickly. I do forgive him though. I pray he finds the peace and healing he truly needs through sobriety and can be the father our daughter truly needs and longs for one day.
