Grateful this morning

for going to bed and waking up sober! The weekend was full of pup :dog: therapy. Yesterday I spent the day with 43 pups and the staff at BPPR. The best place to be when needing some pet therapy. A 5 month old Great Dane and a mature French Bulldog. Spent several minutes with a bully mix while we waited on her daddy. She was so sweet. Research suggests that petting an animal will reduce BP and other stress hormones. I enjoyed the cuddles from Sienna, but I think she enjoyed it more. What a great ending to two 11 hour shifts. The good thing about working so long over the weekend is that I will have made enough money to pay for the MCAP courses! That is my next goal and I am grateful to have this second job to keep me busy and to pay for my life long learning!
I am grateful today is a new day at OPS for it is the day we work with the Women's BIP group. We talked about jealousy last week and I am interested in today's topic of put downs and the stories we tell ourselves.
I am looking foward to a fantastic iced coffee. I am grateful for being able to make these at work and sip on them throughout the day.
I am so grateful for Shiloh. Last night and the evening before, she allowed me to touch the side of her face for about a half of a second. I say this is progress! Today! Grateful! Sober! Strong!
