I almost died on this lake 3 years ago this month, no joke.
I had been day drinking since 10am, was on a floaty and didn’t care where it was going. The wind picked up the current and carried me to the middle of the lake.
I fell off and panicked, I didn’t know how to swim. My best friend’s son came out in a kayak and pulled me to shore.
That should have been a wake up call…..I had a problem.
I’m grateful to be alive to tell the story and sober as of 4-4-2022
Glad your still with us, I completely understand. Looks like pyramid lake in Nevada?
Lake Lahontan….my BFF used to live in Dayton, not too far from Carson City.
Wow! Glad you made it. But can I tell you something and see it from my perspective? Ok! I seen your Bio and you said you’re an alcoholic. Do NOT claim that in your life! No you ARE NOT an Alcoholic by all means. You are redeemed and you are healed from that. Don’t claim that, claim the opposite.

Life is fragile for sure. Happy to see you're on a great path now!
Admitting that we are powerless over alcohol/drugs is the first step in the healing process
True! But we shouldn’t claim that over us. We are powerful people!
Wow! God was watching over YOU.
You’re swimming now!
I’m in south lake, lol we should hit a meeting and coffe some day.
