Gratitude list

  1. Today I’m grateful for waking up sober literally getting on my knees. Praying to God, my meditation and my morning routine.

  2. I’m grateful for my Home Group, the free hour that I have in sobriety there. The lessons I’ve learned and the people I talk to are so valuable.

  3. Grateful to have a job even though the first week of work, my body hurt so much.

  4. I’m grateful that the owners of my company are more concerned about my recovery and not worried about my work ethic. They’ve allowed me not to take a leadership role and to be an employee. It’s a humbling experience and it’s very important to my recovery.

  5. I’m grateful that I heard from my apartment management team and my apartment is safe. He would like me to be caught up by the end of the month which is possible. Which means that the cats will not need to be rehomed, that scared me. I love them so much, and that I won’t be homeless, which has never happened before.

  6. I’m also just grateful to actually start to feel some gratitude for what I do have instead of what I don’t have. God and AA is starting to change my perspective.
