I'm grateful for family and the opportunity that sobriety offers to be part of your family again. Yesterday we took my parents out for their 65th wedding anniversary and it was amazing.
It's not always easy to be around family, especially a brother-in-law who drinks the way he drinks and continues to think it's normal.
So I just smile and be courteous and not rude cuz it's my sister's husband.
